Thanks to the excellence of their science projects, some 30 Collège Notre-Dame (Sudbury) students will take part in the Sudbury Regional Science Fair to take place on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, at Laurentian University. Certain students may possibly be selected for the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Ottawa in May.

Among the 15 projects to be showcased by Collège Notre-Dame students at the Sudbury Regional Science Fair are 14 from the intermediate level (grades 9 and 10) and one from the senior level (grades 11 and 12). Under the careful guidance of their teachers, these students focused on a variety of scientific subjects and were able to work on their scientific method.

Earlier in February, grade 9 and 10 students from Collège Notre-Dame presented their research project to a panel of judges at the Expo-sciences CND 2024 science fair in the following categories: life science, health science, physical science, engineering and computer science. The young scientists who produced the top science fair projects qualified to move on to the Sudbury Regional Science Fair.
