Sudbury – The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) proudly announces the appointment of new school principals for the 2014-2015 school year. As of August 18, 2014:

 Mr. Luc Dalcourt will assume the role of systemic school principal for the Board. This position will allow him to implement various ministry initiatives within CSCNO elementary and secondary schools;

Mrs. Lise Dewar will be the new principal at St-Denis elementary school in Sudbury;

Until June 2015, Mr. Michel Lavergne will assume a temporary principal’s position at

St-Joseph elementary school in Dubreuilville.

“We will greatly benefit from a continued stability among our leaders in our elementary and secondary Catholic schools during the 2014-2015 school year,” stated Mr. André Bidal, CSCNO President.

Mrs. Lyse-Anne Papineau, Director of Education at the CSCNO, added: “Our school principals and vice-principals act as catalysts for our Catholic professional learning community. We are confident that these three principals will be exemplary leaders for students and staff.”

The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
