The musical talent of Collège Notre-Dame (Sudbury) students will be showcased during the upcoming Quand ça nous chante music festival. This provincial event, offered to students from various French-language secondary schools from across the province, will be held virtually from Monday, March 22, to Wednesday, March 24. The Quand ça nous chante festival, run by the Association des professionnels de la chanson et de la musique, will enable students to take part in workshops on various aspects of music creation and recording.
Through their participation in this festival, the participating Collège Notre-Dame students will be able to develop their passion for music and share their talents, while also learning from professional musicians.
The following Collège Notre-Dame students are among the young artists to be showcased and who will share their talent virtually on March 22, 23 and 24.
Cayleigh Brûlé, grade 11, will perform the song “C’est elle” by Renée Wilkin.
Chloé Kitsos, grade 11, will perform the song “Tous les garçons et les filles” by François Hardy (remake by Coeur de Pirate).
Jonathan Dickey, grade 12, will perform the song “Ailleurs” by Ben l’Oncle Soul.
Danica Lavigne, grade 11, will perform the song “Chemin perdu” by Caroline Savoie.
Choé Brideau, grade 11, will perform the song “Adieu mon homme” by Pomme.
Madison Gobbo, grade 12, will perform the song “Laisser tomber ” by Mélissa Ouimet.
The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon offers a French-language Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSC Nouvelon provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 6,400 students enrolled in 27 elementary, 1 virtual school and 10 secondary schools.
